Hana Bank (하나은행, formerly KEB Hana Bank, The bank removed KEB from their name on 31st Jan 2020.) is one of 4대 시중은행(The 4 major commercial banks) Specialised in foreign exchange services.

Hana bank has the greatest reputation among foreigners and actually their services are good enough to have that.

If you have a Hana bank account, I strongly recommend you to get a Hana check card. (even if you don' use it) because if you lose your wallet and all of your cards, you may need to report them but most of the card companies don't operate the 24/7 English report of loss centre, but Hana card does. With a single call with Hana card, you can suspend all of your cards, even they're from other companies or banks. To suspend your card, just call their English service centre(1544-3500), ask them that you lost your cards and want to suspend all of them at once, and then your money will be safe.

KEB Hana Card announced that they'll suspend all the credit/debit card services in Hana bank branches starting 4th May 2020, except application and issuance of a new card. You need to call them(1544-3500) or use their mobile app instead.

Starting 6th July 2020, KEB Hana Card will charge 2,000 KRW for issuing a check(debit) card.
