Benefit / Reward services of the card

  • The following benefits are what you can get by using this card for buying or paying for something in shops.
  • Some benefits may require some preconditions such as shop categories and minimun spending requirement. Click and see the notices described in each perk.
  • O2O   7 % Cash back on Kakao Pay use

    Notice

    - Cash back will be given only if you spend 10,000 KRW or more at once.
    - "All online purchases(shops)" mean all purchases made through a payment gateway or digital wallet service. Almost domestic online shops are applicable. However, some online purchases like tax payment, express bus ticket or train ticket purchase will not be recognised as an online purchase.
    - [Spending requirement] This benefit requires 250,000 KRW in total or more spendings of this card in the month before the purchase.
    - The spendings will be excluded from the required monthly spending.
    - This benefit will be provided 4 times a month.
    - You must use one of the following Digital wallet services with this card : Kakao Pay(카카오페이). You may need a smartphone with a carrier network plan.

    Notice

    - Cash back will be given only if you spend 50,000 KRW or more at once.
    - A "Mobile (Internet) bill" means any recurring bill charged by a mobile carrier or internet service provider. You won't be able to get this benefit for purchasing a mobile phone, manual bill payment or recharging a prepaid SIM.

    - This benefit will be provided only once a month.

  • COFFEE   5 % Cash back at Starbucks, Caffe Bene, Caffé Pascucci

    Notice

    - Cash back will be given only if you spend 10,000 KRW or more at once.
    - You won't earn the reward for purchases made at bakery, restaurant, cafe inside certain department, grocery, discount and convenience stores, warehouse clubs or train stations.
    - Gift card, voucher purchases may not qualify for earning rewards.

  • TRANSPORT   5 % Cash back on Public transport uses

    Notice

    - Cash back will be given only if you spend 50,000 KRW or more at once.
    - "Public transport (use)" means every contactless use of your credit/check card for taking a city bus or subway. Using your card for public transport through a digital wallet service(eg : Samsung Pay, LG Pay, PAYCO and more) won't be eligible for this benefit.

  • Some or all of the card benefits require a certain amount of monthly or annual spendings and you can fulfil the requirement by using your card for a certain amount in a month. However, some of the purchases will be excluded from it and they'll still be billed.
  • The following purchases will not be counted towards into required monthly spending amount :
    Online shop(온라인/전자상거래 업종), Debit transaction through the bank network(은행공동망 이용 직불거래), ATM withdrawal(자동화기기 인출금액), Service fees including annual fee and foreign transaction fee (해외이용 수수료 및 연회비를 포함한 각종 수수료), Cancelled or refunded purchases(구매 취소건)
  • All shops described in this page mean only the local merchants accept credit/check cards in Korea, unless otherwise noted or marked with the word "Overseas".
  • All shops that accept credit/check cards may have a merchant code determined and assigned by the shop, card issuer or network provider, and it's the key criteria for earning or not earning rewards for making purchases in a specific shop. If the shop doesn't have a merchant code in that category, even though a shop or some of the items that it sells may appear to fit within a rewards category, purchases in that shop won't qualify for rewards on purchases in that category and you won't be able to earn the basic, special or additional rewards on the purchases. Also, if the shop isn't in the exception for earning rewards, the purchases could qualify for the rewards. The categories may vary with the issuers and the ways of making purchases.
