Because of the following cases, Wooribank is now recognised as one of the most discredited banks in Korea and got a nickname("Worry Bank") by foreign residents in Korea.

Since they changed their banking system in May 2018, some serious system failures occurred. On 8th May 2018, their main banking system and deposit/withdrawal notification system didn't work properly. Some people received other people's transaction notification by system error. On 21st September 2018, their system for local outgoing money transfer failed. Before banking with this bank, you must be aware that their banking system is still unstable.
In 2018, Wooribank has changed about 40,000 customers' internet banking password without permission. They've abused their customers' account information to fake the number of inactive customers. Source(Korean)
